Action Posters are custom pieces of artwork created from a posed, action or simulated action image. Our artists digitally cuts the subject out of an original image and places it on one of our 20+ background designs chosen by you which is then matched to the color of the subject’s uniform/clothing. You can also use TWO unique images within one Action Poster. Many designs can also be customized with the subject’s name, team, organization logo, year or school letter. The resulting image is always printed on Kodak’s Professional Endura Metallic paper. The metallic paper also helps bring out the detail in the unique poster graphics and establishes the special attributes of these products. We also recommend further enhancing these products by having them mounted on foam core backing. Background Designs Action Posters are designed so the backgrounds could be used with MANY different types of sports and activities. The designs are not sport-specific so they are more flexible. Of course, some designs lend themselves to particular activities better than others, but there are many possibilities with each. So, when deciding on a background design, look beyond the sample. For example: you may see a soccer image in a “Chrome” design sample, but that design could be used for football, dance, hockey, etc. Background Colors All design background colors are adjusted based on the color of the uniform, clothing or costume of the subject. This means that your action poster will always match school or team colors! As an example, see our “Replicant” design sample images. This is the same design used with several different sports & activities. Each “Replicant” sample has the background color matched to the clothing or uniform of the subject. Team/ Organization Logos We can include one team/organization logo per action poster. The collegiate or school letter shown in some designs is selected by the artist. The artist uses the first letter of the team name visible. If you want to use a different collegiate or school letter then please specify that when we take your custom order.
